Location

　　　　 Da an Sodic land experiment station is located in the typical saline sodic land area-Honggangzi Town，Da an city,Jilin province,occupied 100 hm2.

Environment Background

　　  The total saline sodic land area in songnen plain is 23925.8km2 and 60% of them is locate in the western part of Jilin province. Da’an city situated in the middle of Songnen plain, has 2476.8 km2 saline sodic land, occupying 50.8% of the total land.  

General Objectives

　　  Provide support for the ecological construction and sustainable development in the saline sodic land area in Northeast China.

Academic Objectives

　　　 Collect, screen and use stress tolerant plants, develop technologies for the ecological restoration in sodic land area. Identify the process and mechanisms of soil Stalinization and alkalization. Provide theoretical and technical support for the land degradation management and ecological construction.
