Z．M．Wang is mainly engaged in remote sensing application in resources and environment. He is the member of youth Committee for China Society of Natural Resources Committee, editor of Chinese Geographical Science and Reviewer for some other SCI、SSCI、EI journal.

　　 The title for “outstanding contributions young talent in Jilin” is given to those young talents who made significant influence in science and technology field in Jilin. The award is given every other year. The provincial government honors prizes and certificates for the winners.
