Hosted by Chinese Ecosystem Research Network（CERN）and NEIGAE, the Seminar on wetland ecosystem observation and research strategy for long-term orientation held from 10 – 13 Sep,2010.

Head of the Bureau of Resources and Environment, CAS and officials from Jixi provincial governments and about 60 researchers attended the seminar. The purpose of the seminar is to identify the long-term strategy of Northeast Wetland Ecosystem Research Network with the help of experts in relevant areas. Accelerate the development of Northeast Wetland Ecosystem Research Network and enhance the capacity of wetland protection in national and local level.
