On July 17-19, 2009, Seminar entitled “Wetland Future, Wetland Topics” held in Changchun. There are more than 200 people from China, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Japan attended the Seminar.

　　The seminar disused about ecological processes of wetlands, wetlands biodiversity, wetland protection and management, wetland ecosystem restoration, construction and application of artificial wetland, particularly interested in Wetland model, wetlands and global change, wetlands, biogeochemical cycles, wetland restoration and the application of artificial wetlands, wetlands, ecological corridor construction. Report of the seminar involved many international front and hot areas of wetland research and constructive ideas. This seminar represents the latest achievement of wetland science home and aboard, enhances the communication of scientists in relative areas and offers an excellent platform for the development of wetland science in China.
